Membership
Becoming a member is easy! Membership is open to any parent, guardian, or adult who cares for a student at Dundee Elementary and completes a simple application. We keep an up-to-date list of members and their voting status, as required by Oregon law. If a member no longer meets eligibility requirements, their membership will end automatically. In rare cases, the Board may suspend or remove a member for behavior that harms the organization, but only after providing notice and an opportunity to respond. Members are also free to resign at any time by notifying the President or Secretary in writing. Executive Board Nominations
Interested in Joining the Board or Know Someone Who Would Be Great for One of the Roles?
The Dundee Parent Group Executive Board is made up of elected officer positions including President, Vice President, Secretary, Co-Treasurers, Communications Officer, and Volunteer Coordinator. Board members play an important role in supporting our school community and helping guide the direction of the DPG.
Who can run?
Any current DPG voting member is eligible to be nominated for or run for a Board position. There are no term limits, so returning Board members are welcome to run again.
How does it work?
Nominations can be submitted up until our annual Membership Meeting in May by completing the below form. If only one person is nominated for a position, voting is done verbally. If more than one person is nominated, a written ballot vote takes place at the meeting. Only DPG voting members may nominate candidates or vote.
When do new officers start?
Newly elected officers are installed in September and serve a two-year term.

Committee Chair Nominations
Interested in Chairing a Committee?
DPG committees are where a lot of the fun happens! Each committee is led by a chairperson or co-chair who helps keep things organized, communicates with their team, and reports back to the Board at DPG meetings. It's a great way to take on a leadership role and make a real impact at Dundee.
Current committee chair openings include: Dolphin Dash, Auction, Hospitality, and Resource Room.
How does it work?
Committee chairs are appointed by the DPG Executive Board rather than elected by a vote. Chair positions are revisited and filled at the beginning of each school year.
What does a chair do?
As a committee chair you would be responsible for scheduling and leading meetings, keeping your committee members informed and on track, and giving progress updates at DPG meetings. Responsibilities can be shared or delegated within the committee as needed.

Any DPG member in good standing is welcome to express interest!
